I am Dr. Shanthi Priya a consultant ophthalmologist by profession, a fitness enthusiast, a writer, a young-onset Parkinson’s disease warrior (a chronic progressive neurological disorder with no cure) since 10 years at the age of 38, and a self-taught artist. My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, some style. April 2019, I founded SAARFOUNDATION a non-profit organization to make a difference in the life of a person with Parkinson’s.
